The Eastern Shore Rural Health System of Virginia continued its mission to provide quality and affordable healthcare for the Eastern Shore area with the opening of the Onley Community Health Center in July, 2010. The new facility doubled the size of the previous center, and offers internal medicine, pediatrics, and extended labs and x-ray facilities.

The building features six wings that feed into a centralized main area, resulting in a functional yet unique design. The roof incorporated 25,700 SF of 16” Snap Clad architectural standing seam metal panels in .032 aluminum in an elegant PAC-CLAD Aged Copper Metallic Kynar finish.  The project was installed by Jim Wert Builders, Inc, of Belle Haven, VA, and the General Contractor was Nason Construction of Salisbury MD.
