New Children’s Library in Progress in Little Rock, AR

Construction is underway for the Children’s Library, the newest facility in the Central Arkansas Library System. The project will feature Petersen Aluminum’s 1” high Snap-On Standing Seam panels in 24 GA  PAC-CLAD Aged Copper Metallic and Weathered Zinc Metallic Kynar finishes for the roof. For wall areas, the PAC 7/8” Corrugated Panel, in 24 GA Galvalume Plus, as well as the PAC Precision Series HWP in 24 GA Weathered Zinc, were specified.

The Precision Series is the newest offering for use in wall and equipment screen applications. The panel is available in 12” and 16” widths, and in 24 and 22 GA steel, and .032 and .040 aluminum. Featuring bold shadow lines, the PAC Precision Series provides an ultra-modern look in a low maintenance, easily installed panel. The panel can be specified with a fastener leg for direct, concealed attachment, or with clip installation.

The project is being installed by Glass Erectors of Little Rock, AR, and Architect-of-Record is Polk, Stanley, Wilcox Architects, also of Little Rock.

Below is a preliminary architectural rendering for this project. Stay tuned for project completion photos.
