PETERSEN METAL ROOF TO BE “LAST ROOF” ON FLORIDA RESIDENCE

After the original shake shingles sustained significant storm damage, the owner of an upscale residence in Orlando, FL wanted a new metal roof installed that would be “the last roof we put on this house.”  Approximately 12,000 sq. ft. of Petersen SNAP-CLAD™ metal roofing panels were installed to meet the owner’s objective.

The SNAP-CLAD system has been designed for architectural aesthetics and structural performance and meets Florida’s Building Code and Miami-Dade NOA standards for wind-uplift resistance.

The 16” wide, 24 gauge galvanized steel panels were finished in Copper Penny.  Approximately 4,000 sq. ft. of PAC-CLAD metal roofing flat stock was used for flashings and gutters on the project.

Installation of the Petersen panels was done by RAE CO of Ocala, Ocala, FL.

Produced in factory formed lengths up to 55 feet, Petersen’s PAC-CLAD metal roofing Panels are Herr-Voss corrective leveled to provide superior flatness.  Longer lengths are available by consulting the factory.  All are available in 36 standard colors on steel and 34 standard colors on aluminum.
