According to Climate Progress magazine the top five cities currently seeing the most growth in green jobs are San Francisco, Boston, Detroit, Portland and New York City.
Arkeena’s Andalay AC solar panels are now available at Lowes retail stores in California. The solar panels are being sold as part of Lowe’s Energy Center. The Energy Centers feature an information kiosk to help customers evaluate a home’s solar and wind potential. Products that help consumers measure their energy use, reduce energy consumption and generate clean energy are also sold in the store’s Energy Center areas. Lowes expects to expand the Energy Center concept beyond California into additional US and Canadian stores in 2010.
