The Building Codes Assistance Project (BECAP) has launched a campaign to recognize 10 states and localities that demonstrate a commitment toward energy efficient buildings. BCAP is looking at those regions that have adopted the IECC code and ASHRAE 90.1 standard, providing training, and promoting innovation to design and construct buildings in excess of code compliance.
Nine locations have been named to-date:

Georgia
Idaho
Kansas
Massachusetts
New Hampshire
New York City
Rifle, CO
Santa Fe, NM
