Oak Ridge National Laboratory announced at a recent Cool Roof Rating Council meeting that a Cool Roof Roadmap meeting of industry and DOE representatives will be held in the fourth quarter of 2010. The intent is to gather ideas for research in the field of cool roofing from all roofing industries. Based on the information gathered, ORNL would then submit a request to DOE for funding the research program that is expected to run for three years. The exact date of the meeting has not yet been established.
