The Residential Energy Services Network, RESNET, announced the creation of COMNET to address the ratings for energy efficiency of commercial buildings. COMNET will offer guidelines for energy modeling and certification of commercial energy auditors and raters. The standardized modeling practices will be used to pursue the federal commercial buildings tax deduction, green building ratings and energy labels. More information is available at www.comnet.org.
