UL Environment and EcoLogo Partnership

Underwriters Laboratory Environment has acquired Terrachoice, the manager of the EcoLogo Program. Terrachoice is based in Ottawa, Canada. Both brands will continue. The EcoLogo brand will be emphasized in Canadian markets where it is already established. It restricts certification to only the top 20% of products within a specific category. Over 7,000 EcoLogo certified products are currently available. The UL Environment brand will be emphasized in the US and globally.
