The International Code Council released Public Version 2.0 of the International Green Construction Code (IgCC). The updated version incorporates 27 ASTM standards and is based on actions taken after the August 2010 public hearings on the previous Version 1.0. The document is available in adoptable language, meaning that any jurisdiction can adopt the public version 2.0 even though it is not the final version of the code. The ICC plans to release the final version of IgCC in early 2012 after another round of public comments and hearings.
