ASHRAE has launched their ASHRAE/ASHE Standard 189.2P, Standard for the Design, Construction and Operation of Sustainable High-Performance Health Care Facilities. The public review period ends May 2, 2011. Comments can be made on line at https://osr.ashrae.org. This is only an “advisory public review” which means that the strict rules of ANSI/ASHRAE do not apply. The format of the document is set up much like ASHRAE Standard 189.1, with further qualifiers that apply to health care facilities.
