The Randall B. Terry, Jr. Companion Animal Veterinary Medical Center, currently under construction, will be one of the nations leading providers of care for companion animals. Featuring cutting-edge technologies for imaging, cardiac care, cancer treatments, internal medicine, and surgery; the facility will more than double the size of the current companion animal hospital, and will help accommodate the more than 20,000 cases referred to the CVM each year. The project features a 4-coat custom color – Veterinary Green – for roofing and trim details as well as metal edge, including:
- 22 GA Snap Clad panel, 12” on center
- 22 GA 7.2 Exposed Fastener Panel
- .063 PAC Continuous Cleat Coping
The project will also feature PAC Flush and Reveal panels in 040 custom color Warm Silver. The installation contractor for this project is Jedco Construction, Inc of Raleigh, North Carolina, and project GC is New Atlantic Contracting. Architect of Record is Small Kane P.A. of Raleigh, NC.
Diana, one of Randall Terry’s three dogs, served as VIP at the groundbreaking ceremony in November of 2007. Randall Terry, a businessman and philanthropist from Highpoint, NC, has donated more than $4 million to the CVM, in grants and scholarships, and served as president of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Foundation. Mr. Terry died in May 2004.
