Little Leaguers in the Southeastern Region will feel like they’re playing in the Majors, thanks to a new state-of-the-art facility in Warner Robins, GA. The complex will serve as the headquarters for the Little League SE Region, and was officially open for play in June, 2010. The $5.5 million dollar facility is the hub for action for Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Seating capacity is 2500, and a large portion of this stadium seating is covered with a canopy that features 6500 SF of Petersen Aluminum curved Tite-Loc metal roofing panels in 24 GA Dark Bronze steel. There is no mistaking the game to be played at this stadium, as the canopy is adorned with several giant baseballs to accent the curved-panel canopy. PAC also supplied 23,000 SF of 24 GA Dark Bronze Snap Clad metal roofing panels for the other buildings throughout the complex, including the concession stand and restroom facilities. Petersen worked closely with its Georgia distributor, Commercial Roofing Specialties (CRS) and the installation contractor, Aegis Roofing of Macon GA. The architect of record for the project was JMA Architects, of Perry GA.
