In our efforts to meet and exceed the most stringent testing requirements, Petersen Aluminum continues to add to and update its portfolio of Florida Building Product Approvals and Miami-Dade High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) approvals:
Florida Building Approvals: Most of our existing approvals have been revised to meet the most recent 2010 Building Code. Additional testing has been completed to add additional substrates, decks and panel on-centers, in many cases producing increased wind load capabilities. Snap Clad, Tite-Loc Plus, Snap On Standing Seam, Flush Panel, PAC-850, our line of Exposed Fastener panels, and Precision Series Horizontal Wall Panels all have FBC approvals.
Miami Dade: Many of our NOA’s for Snap Clad and Tite-Loc Plus have been resubmitted and are approved through 2017. Additional approvals are pending in late January/early February for 24 GA and .032 aluminum Tite-Loc Plus over steel deck, as well as our aluminum 7/8” Corrugated Panel.
