Belmont Village Turtle Creek Luxury living complex features plenty of architectural style

Dallas’ newest luxury rental project offers 201 private apartments and a continuum of lifestyle support in a 195,000-sq.-ft. French provincial-style mid-rise facility named Belmont Village Turtle Creek. The seven-story building required more than 67,000 sq. ft. of Petersen Aluminum products to complete the architectural vision for the building.

BRI Roofing & Sheet Metal of Haslet, known throughout the roofing industry for its excellent workmanship, effective management and safety procedures, was the installer. Although the project’s architectural standing seam roof system was designed with steep slopes and relatively short panel lengths, BRI Roofing’s installation went smoothly thanks to its attention to safety.

“The biggest challenge was the mansards,” said Ed Reising, co-owner of BRI. “Getting up there to work off scaffolds with guys tied off on chicken ladders so they could custom fabricate all of the inlaid gutters and downspouts was definitely quite a challenge. But we have a real strong focus on day-to-day safety and there were no issues. And the job turned out great.  We’re quite proud of it—it’s a beautiful building.”

The luxury rental project incorporates roughly 23,000 sq. ft. of Petersen Aluminum’s Snap Clad standing seam panels in charcoal grey with striations and 14,000 sq. ft. of flush panels in 24 gauge steel also in charcoal grey. The project also utilized 30,600 sq. ft. of flat sheet in charcoal grey and sandstone colors.

The French provincial-style structure was designed by Morris Architects in Houston, and the general contractor was Rogers-O’Brien Construction in Dallas. All the panels and flat sheet for this project were supplied by Petersen Aluminum’s Tyler, Texas plant.

This is the twenty-second community owned and operated by Houston-based Belmont Village Senior Living.
