Price increase on steel coil, sheet and panels effective Jan. 15, 2024
The domestic steel market has seen increased volatility in recent weeks. All major steel mills have formally announced increases to the market. As such, it is necessary that Petersen implement a price increase on the following products effective Jan. 15, 2024:
- Steel coil and flat sheets: 5%
- Steel panels: 7%
New pricing will be shared in advance of the increase effective date. To receive pre-increase pricing, orders must be received prior to Jan. 15 and ship before Jan. 31.
Continued raw material cost pressures are anticipated which could result in additional price increases over the coming months
