Bank’s blue metal roofs meet designer’s detail needs
The new Navy Federal Credit Union branch in St. Marys, Ga., is one of the latest locations to utilize PAC-CLAD panels for the roof design. Other branches of the NFCU in Georgia, North Carolina and Texas also sport Petersen’s PAC-CLAD roofs. Navy Federal Credit Union is the world’s largest credit union and proudly serves more than 7 million members of the military, Department of Defense and their families.
Architectural design for the St. Marys branch was created by Inox Design in Atlanta. The firm has provided design services for multiple NFCU locations.
Approximately 9,500 sq. ft. of .032 aluminum Snap-Clad panels finished in Interstate Blue were installed along with 2,000 sq. ft. of vented .032 aluminum Flush panels finished in Silver.
“Petersen is certainly the basis of design for these jobs,” said Mike Jones, sales/technical representative based in the company’s Acworth, Ga., plant. “The design architect is very concerned about proper detailing and I speak with her once a week when she’s working on a project.”
Installation of the PAC-CLAD panels was done by Saco Systems in Suwanee, Ga.
The Petersen distributor on the project was Commercial Roofing Specialties (CRS) in Atlanta and College Park, Ga.
