Complex roof detail creates beautiful design for high-end home
The 5,500-sq.-ft. custom home for the Davis family in Waco, Texas, sports a complex roof that is “mainly detail work,” said James Guest of Guest Roofing in Waco, the installing contractor. “It’s very cut up with lots of hips and valleys and pitches and planes. It’s a beautiful design.”
Approximately 10,300 sq. ft. of Petersen’s Snap-On standing seam roof panels finished in Dark Bronze were installed. The 24 gauge steel PAC-CLAD panels were fabricated at Petersen’s manufacturing plant in Tyler, Texas, and provide a great color complement to the home’s natural stone façade.
Guest Roofing is a long-time user of Petersen’s PAC-CLAD products. “They are my ‘go-to’ people,” Guest said. “We’ve done a lot of projects together over the years.”
The residence was a design/build project by Don Young & Associates in Waco.
