Contemporary mountainside home clad in metal roof, walls and soffits

Perched on an extremely steep site with panoramic views of a river valley below, the Two Rivers Point Residence near Little Rock, Ark., provides a modern look with comfortable, contemporary living for a growing family.

Architectural design for the project was provided by Polk Stanley Wilcox, Little Rock. The stunning residence highlights a limited palette of materials including stone, steel and glass.

Roof, wall and soffit cladding were fabricated from Petersen PAC-CLAD 24 gauge coil and flat sheet finished in Cool Color Musket Gray. The metal products were installed by Covington Roofing in Conway, Ark. The Petersen material was supplied from the company’s Tyler, Texas plant.

The house also incorporates sustainable initiatives through the use of LED lighting, foam insulation, and high-performance mechanical systems.
